... If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and
one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without
giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. (James 2:14-17)
Even though our core mission is to "make disciples of the nations" (Matt 28:19-20), Touch + Lift Ministries also feels compelled to help provide "our neighbors" with some of their most basic needs (James 2:14-17). This is faith with works. Today, billions of people are living in
extreme poverty without the things "needed for the body" like food, shelter, basic
healthcare and education. Millions of these "made in His image" (Gen 1:27) have no access to safe drinking water and are dying from preventable and treatable diseases. |

The
estimated 844 million people around the world who do not have
privileged access to clean water are left with no option other than to
fetch and drink contaminated
water which claims the lives of nearly 3.5 million people each year. And
of these 3.5 million people, 1.5 million are children. To put that into
some perspective, that would mean that 3 children die every minute from
water-related diseases. That's 4,320 children per day which is more
than the number of children's lives claimed by AIDS, malaria and measles
combined. That's more than the number of lives claimed on 9/11. How can
we allow this continue?
Touch + Lift Ministries would like to invite YOU to participate in The

drilling of a bore hole, YOU and 79 others would provide a village in
Uganda with clean
drinking water for up to the next 100 years. It's that simple. If 80
